Brovdi Art and Abramovych.Art will present a special project within Kyiv Art Week

On 23 – 27 May 2018, a special project "The End of Spring" by Oleg Tistol and Sergei Sviatchenko, the artist who has returned from Denmark to the Ukrainian cultural space for the first time in 30 years, will be presented within the framework of Kyiv Art Week International Art Festival. The project is supported by the Brovdi Art Foundation (Robert and Nataliya Brovdi) and the Abramovych.Art platform (Igor Abramovych).

"The End of Spring" is a large joint installation that includes collages, photos, stained-glass windows, and sculptures.

"Presented in the last week of spring, the project is metaphorically and literally devoted to the transformations and their consequences, nostalgia and presentiment, history and futuristic predictions. After parting during the years of Ukraine’s independence, the artists compared personal optics, developed by everyone in different local contexts, in one global context reproducing thus a timeless stereo image with the views from different angles being in a single dramatic panorama of historical existence," Natalia Matsenko.

The opening of the project will be held on 23 May 2018 at 7 p.m., in the complex "Toronto – Kyiv" (pavilion B12, 100 Velyka Vasylkivska str.).
