Robert Brovdi became a member of the Supervisory Board of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts

On July 15, 2016 on the basis of the decision of the Academic Council and the order of the Rector, it was created the Supervisory Board of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts, and on August 29 it was approved the regulations of its activity. The organization was created to oversee the management of the property of the educational institution and public control over its activities.

The Supervisory Board is called to contribute: solving of perspective problems of development of Transcarpathian Academy of Arts, improving the quality and competitiveness of its educational activities; attracting additional financial resources and monitoring their use; effective interaction of the Academy with the state bodies, business entities, public associations, educational, scientific and art centres of Ukraine and other states.

The Supervisory Board included the president of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Andrii Chebykin, the chairman of the interstate “Ukrainian-Chinese Business Council”, a businessman and philanthropist Robert Brovdi, the People's Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Mykyta, the People's Deputy of Ukraine Valerii Lunchenko, the member of the Uzhhorod City Council and entrepreneur Ivan Voloshyn, a public figure and entrepreneur Pavlo Chuchka, the director of the enterprise "Khust-FILTS" Ivan Lupiak.

It should be noted that Robert Brovdi, Valerii Lunchenko and Ivan Voloshyn have been active for a number of years in developing the cultural life of the region. They, in particular, consistently supported the teaching and student team led by the rector Ivan Nebesnyk in obtaining the status of the Academy by the Transcarpathian Art Institute, which was implemented on April 13, 2016 by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the basis of the petition of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and People's Deputy Valerii Lunchenko.

The Supervisory Board actively assisted the newly formed Transcarpathian Academy of Arts in resolving numerous strategic and current issues. This is what was discussed during the visit of the members of the Supervisory Board of Robert Brovdi and Ivan Voloshyn to the educational institution. They together with the rector of the Academy, Professor Ivan Hebesnyk discussed in detail the current state of affairs, exchanged their opinions and specific proposals on the institution development programme.
