Exhibition "Goodbye, Word!". The work of Mykhailo Khodanych "Cognitive Communications"

A scientific consultant of the exhibition, art critic Oksana Havrosh: "The latest technology and global information space have identified a new paradigm of human sensuality. The communication system was limited to a short message in the Internet space – the most sensible expression of the sensual presence. This "social communication" thereby violated the traditional view of sensuality only as a physiological and psychic ability of a person.

The cognitive ability of a person to look – to see, to listen – to hear affects the formation of a picture of the world in certain cultural realities. Torn off from the sensual form, the aesthetic ideal, as a rule, becomes an abstraction. Therefore, the author of the project proposes to replenish art with tactile sensations, which, along with visual images, expand our perceptions of the world, making it more voluminous."
