Exhibition "Goodbye, Word!". Reviews and comments. Oksana Havrosh

PhD in History of Arts, a scientific consultant of the project Oksana Havrosh:

"First of all, this exhibition is outstanding for the Transcarpathian region itself. The fact is that for many years we have been talking about our Transcarpathian school, writing theses and books, but for the school to be developed, it is necessary to constantly feed and update it. As traditions that do not develop disappear eventually. And the exhibition "Goodbye, Word" itself is not just words, it's specific actions for rebooting, rethinking traditions that should exist in the 21st century. Today we cannot speak the language of Kotliarevskyi, we develop the language. And we cannot speak the language of the last 20th century, the language of Erdeli, Bokshai, this is not interesting to anyone. We must change ourselves, and the artists, presented today in Kyiv, did it.

This is the first step! I hope there will be further ones. I hope that there will be some applications. We are not going to change the world art but we would like to revive the context in our region, in Ukraine, and enter new horizons."

The exhibition of the contemporary Transcarpathian art "Goodbye, Word!" will last at the Museum of Kyiv History until 22 May 2018. Come and see the works of the new art generation!
