Exhibition "Goodbye, Word!". Reviews and comments. Serhii Arkhypchuk

Director, stage designer, Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine Serhii Arkhypchuk:

"It feels like I'm on the seashore going into the water not even knee-deep. Thus, I stop, looking around and thinking. I want to dive into my feelings, perceptions of what I see. It is as boundless as the sea, as the creativity of the artists presented here. Because it exists in time and out of it. It hurts during the time and the time is painful within it. Therefore, one would like to succumb to these art vibrations in the same way as one succumbs when listening to the sea or watching the waves.

The greatest achievement of the exhibition is that it is conceptual, it is not provincial – neither for its construction nor for the authors' idea and the design of the exposition itself. The main thing is that it has its own view, the concept that you can also catch, when you stop observing, thinking, contemplating.

The exhibition confirms the newest foundation which Ukraine must comprehend. Things that the era of information fuss, which can so easily swallow, humiliate, trample, throw up, deceive, mislead, is passing. And it can be replaced by the era of meanings and content. This exhibition is a serious philosophical statement for a new era of meanings. I’m sure that I did not lose time visiting this exhibition. I would be glad to see the artists in other interiors and follow their creativity in the variety of genres presented here."
